UV Spectroradiometer (200-400nm)

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation falls within the electromagnetic spectrum between X-rays and visible light, with wavelengths ranging from 100 to 400 nm. The commonly used UV spectrum is mainly focused on 200-400 nm, categorized as UV-A (315-400 nm), UV-B (280-315 nm), UV-C (200-280 nm), and vacuum UV-D (100-200 nm). The UVA band, also known as long-wave black spot effect UV, has strong penetration, affecting the dermis layer of the skin, causing damage to elastic and collagen fibers, resulting in tanning. UV-A radiation has a relatively weak biological effect. UVB, or mid-wave red spot effect UV, has moderate penetration and can cause sunburn, inflammation, skin aging, and, in severe cases, skin cancer. UVC radiation has a strong destructive effect on microorganisms and is commonly used for UV sterilization. Due to the potential harm of UV radiation, UV spectroradiometry is becoming increasingly important.

Product Introduction

The iSpecRad UV Spectroradiometer, developed by LiSen Optics, is specifically designed for the measurement of UV radiation spectra. It utilizes the principles of spectroradiometry, providing a broader spectrum range (200-1100 nm) compared to traditional UV radiometers. It offers higher testing accuracy and a high dynamic range. This device can achieve high-precision, high-intensity UV radiation intensity measurements. Calibration for UV radiation is traceable to the National Institute of Metrology (NIM) and comes with a calibration certificate, providing accuracy better than 1%. It is widely used for UV radiation measurement in applications such as UV radiation safety leakage, UV aging test chambers, biosafety cabinets UV radiation measurement, UV sterilization, solar UV radiation, xenon lamps, mercury lamps, deuterium lamps, and UV fluorescent lamps.

Radiation Calibration Standard Source Response Curve

The iSpecRad UV Spectroradiometer features unique optical design. Its multi-functional integral radiation probe can achieve continuous or pulsed UV light source measurements. It is equipped with an integral sphere irradiance probe, temperature and humidity sensors, and light triggers for synchronized measurements. The iSpecRad-UV200 UV Spectroradiometer complies with various national and international standards, including GBZ2.2-2007 Occupational Exposure Limits for Hazardous Factors in the Workplace UV, GBZ/T189.4-2007 Laser Radiation Measurement for Workplace Physical Factors, JJF1525-2015 Calibration Specification for Irradiance Parameters of Xenon Arc Aging Test Device, JJF1076-2001 Calibration Specification for Temperature and Humidity Sensors, JJF(纺) 051-2012, JJG062-95, GB/T8427-2008, GB/T16991-2008 standards, AATCC 16-2004 American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists standard.
